How to see Minoan Crete on Google Earth

1. Click on this link to The Archaeological Sites of the Aegean Minoans.

2. Find and click on the link "Download Aegean Minoan GIS Mapping". Your browser will ask you what to do with the .kmz file. Choose "Open with Google Earth". Google Earth will then open and you will see all the archaeological sites marked over Crete.

3. In the left hand panel of Google Earth you will find a list of archaeological sites to visit. Double click on the site you want to visit and Google Earth will zoom in on the archaeological site.

4. When you close Google Earth you will be asked if you want to save the .kmz file to My Places. Click yes and it will be permanently stored on your computer. Check the website occasionally for newer versions of the .kmz file.
